We Did This Records is not a "record label" but rather a D.I.Y platform / collective from the South African underground music community. We focus on local punk rock, folk, ska, crust, noise-rock, post-rock and all that jazz...

We are D.I.Y, non-profit and run a free/donation based music distro.

All donations received go into printing stickers (distributed for free), mix tapes / CDs (distributed for free / cost price), sponsoring studio time... In theory... In reality the amount we get in donations barely keeps the bank account open from month to month... We know bank accounts are not punk... We are sorry... Capitalism is evil...
