So today has been pretty cool in the film department. Two new DIY videos were uploaded for streaming.
The first is a Shibby Pictures released video for local folk-punk-blues-ska boytjies Monday Morning Justice.
Shibby Pictures is a DIY film production project started by a baseball fan named Jak Kerley from the United States. Shibby has put out some rad stuff from short films to a DIY punk documentary! They have also filmed music videos for Days n Daze, Mischief Brew, and Leftöver Crack (soon to be released)... to name a few...
Jak was here last year for a few days doing some work for the job that pays the bills *not Shibby Pictures* but in between his work commitments we managed to put on a Shibby Pictures screening event / folk punk show with MMJ and ATWN. We also all got to hung out in Pretoria and this is what transpired!
The second is something experimental from The Beard. Matt is one productive guy. In between smoking all the weed in Durban, his rigorous surfing schedule, work and constant touring of whatever music projects he has going he still manages to do a shit load of shit!
This is Matt's first attempt at film making.
